1.   

No shorts (Bermuda or any other kind) or skorts will be allowed for students in grades 6-12 (exception RBS 6th grade due to their grade level arrangement of K-6). 
Exceptions:  PE class, athletic, cheerleader or marching band practices.

2.   Skirts, dresses and jumpers may be no shorter than knee length
3.   Jeans and pants:
  a.   Should be properly fitted at the waist (absolutely no saggy/baggy, hip-hugger, or low-rise)
  b Must be hemmed  
  c Must not touch the floor  
  d No stove pipe or large bell bottom legs  
  e Only standard 5-pockets or less on clothing (must conform to standard size and placement) Capri pants and Cargo pants are permissible
  f No lounging style sleepwear or sweatpants of any style  
  g Overall must be properly fastened, over the shoulder, and appropriate size
  h Capri/crop pants are acceptable if worn at mid-calf or below
  i. Solid windsuits with no suggestive writing (stripes on leg side) are allowed
  j. No holes or tears
  k. No writing on seat
4.  No form fitting or body fitting clothing is allowed (example:  lycra and spandex)
5.  No midriffs or navels should be exposed
6.  Button-front shirts must be buttoned to within two buttons of top
7.  No see-through or mesh shirts
8.  No strapless or tube tops allowed.  Spaghetti strap tops not allowed unless a shirt is worn over it
9. 

All shirts and blouses must be long enough that they could be tucked into clothing and cover the waist area (even when arms are raised)

  a.   All garments should be non-revealing  
  b No tank top or sleeveless shirts  
  c No visible cleavage showing  
  d No suggestive, foul or racial language  
  e No references to drugs, alcohol or tobacco products  
  f No references to death, weapons, or violence  
  g Must not contain extra holes or tears  
  h. No wrestling shirts  
  i. No music related shirts (example:  concert)  
  j.  The only acceptable flag to be worn on clothing will be the American flag
  k. There should be no offensive writing or offensive pictures on shirts.
  l. 

No camisole tops.

10.  No Big Johnson, Coed Naked, or any other sexually suggestive writings are allowed
11.  Proper undergarments must be worn at all times
12. 

Bandannas, toboggans, chains or dog collars, caps, hoods, dusters, or trench coats are not to be worn on school grounds/buses/or school functions

13. 

Pierced ears with appropriate jewelry are acceptable.  Other pierced body parts with attached jewelry, studs, ornaments, safety pins, spiked jewelry, etc. are not acceptable.  All inappropriate jewelry must be removed immediately

14.  No unnatural shades of hair coloring (green, pink, yellow, orange, etc.)
  a.   No black or very dark shades of nail polish are acceptable.  
  b Contact lens (No unnatural, abnormal or distracting pattern or shades)
  c Permanent tattoos must be covered at all times (No temporary tattoos allowed)
  d. No black on black clothing (Gothic wear or satanic attire is not acceptable)
15. 

Students cannot wear sunglasses, caps, gloves or hand covering in the school building (Exception:  Medical reasons only)

16.  Shoes:  No house shoes or house slippers
17. 

Make-up:  No unnatural or distracting colors

18. No disruptive clothing
19. Gender appropriate attire
   
 

Principals and teachers will be responsible for endorsing the dress code.

   
 

First Offense ---------------  Warning or BI rest of the day if infraction cannot be fixed

 

Second Offense ------------  3 Days BI

 

Third Offense  --------------  5 Days BI

   
 

Any offense thereafter shall result in ALC.

   
 

Students refusing to adhere to the dress code will be suspended until he/she can conform to the rules.
