| Red
Ribbon Week began as an effort to develop an attitude of
intolerance to the use of drugs. It was after the death of Enrique
Camarena, an undercover drug enforcement officer who was brutally
murdered, that parent group across the nation wore and displayed
RED RIBBONS to show support of a drug
free community. |
| |
|
Please Join the students, teachers, and school personnel
of Macon County in showing support for this upcoming event.
We encourage all businesses in Macon County to place a
RED RIBBON or
BOW at the front of their business to let everyone know they
are supporting this endeavor. |
