Tryouts and first practice for the Red Boiling Springs High School volleyball team will begin at 8 am Monday morning, July 8 in the gym. Practice will continue 8am - 10 am each weekday until school starts unless the students are notified of a change. All potential players should bring a completed physical with them on Monday morning.
The Class of 2024 Graduation Ceremony is tonight at 8:00 PM in RBSHS Gym.
RBSHS students got a dose of what it will be like to be on their own this week as several community members donated their time to play Adulting 101 with 7th graders. Students were assigned jobs and family scenarios and had to make adult purchases, such as housing, transportation and insurance, and live within their budget while also receiving random unplanned expenses. This game teaches financial literacy, career exploration, and practical skills such as managing a checkbook and check writing, in a fun and interactive way and has become an annual event through the partnership of Career & Technical Education (CTE) and Macon Bank & Trust.
Vocational Students/ Parent:
We would like to invite everyone interested in the continuation of Vocational Technical School to attend the county commission meeting Monday night, May 21st, located at the Lafayette City Hall, beginning at 6:30 pm.

Our annual Kona Day is scheduled for May 14th. You can take your classes out starting at 1 p.m. They will finish taking orders at 2:45 p.m. The truck will be outside behind the cafeteria like last year. 20% of all sales will be donated back to the band. I have attached the order form so kids can see the prices and have the form ready if they want it to move quickly. They DO NOT have to have a form to get A KONA ICE; it just makes it work smoother. Students will need to remain outside while they eat the KONA ICE, and if you take them to the practice field, please make sure no cups or trash from the event is left out there so we can continue to have days like this. Please print off copies and send them home on Monday if it will help.
TEACHERS & STAFF GET KONA ICE FREE!
