Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year-Please see the attached for information.

MCJHS Volleyball tryouts for next year’s 7th and 8th graders will be April 21(3-5:00pm) and April 22(5-7:00pm) at MCJH. Softball players will come on April 22. Volleyball tryouts for next year’s 6th graders will be on April 28(3-5:00pm) and April 29(5-7:00pm) at MCJH. You must have a current physical on file to participate at tryouts. Please bring completed physical forms to MCJH office before tryouts.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to inform you that our school’s Point of Sale (POS) system in the cafeteria at Lafayette Elementary experienced technical difficulties yesterday. Our IT department and vendor worked urgently to resolve this issue.
What this means for your child:
 Meals: Students received their breakfast and lunch.
 Payments: Cash transactions were stopped, and prepaid account balances were not affected.
 Action Needed: None. The problem was only with the Cable wire at the POS system at Lafayette Elementary.
We apologize for any inconvenience this had caused our students. The POS system is
fully operational today.

LES Cookie Dough will be delivered on Wednesday of this week. We will send out a message when it has arrived for you to pick it up. Please make arrangements for someone to pick it up after the message is sent out on Wednesday.

Macon County Arts Council’s “Movers, Shakers, and Music Makers”, a performance workshop for children in 4th through 12th grades, will be held April 27th - May 1st, 2026, at the Macon County High School Auditorium.
