The Lafayette Lions Club is sponsoring a Drug Essay Contest for 6th-12th grades. Forms have been taken to the junior high schools and high schools in the county. However, if your child did not get a form and would like to participate, please let Teresa Gregory know (615-666-4010 or 615-888-6388) and she will make sure your child receives a form from school. Essays will be picked up at schools on December 14th.

Parents: This afternoon during demolition by the construction crew, a gas line was punctured. After consultation with RBS Gas officials, it was determined that no threat was posed to any children. There was a smell of gas in some areas of the building. Students in that area were relocated to other areas. I wanted to communicate this event as soon as possible this afternoon to all parents as I am sure students will mention this taking place.
