***BUS ROUTE UPDATES***
This afternoon, Jan 4, the following bus routes will be:
Lafayette: Bus 18 will double for bus 7, Bus 9 will double for 21, bus 60 will double for bus 13.
Lafayette/Westside: Bus 30 will double for bus 31
RBS: Bus 1 will double for Bus 5
Students will be arriving home later than usual on these doubled routes.
MCHS Track Try Outs and Practice will take place Monday, January 11th, through Friday, January 15th, from 3:00 - 5:00. This is also open to RBSHS students.
If anyone in the household has tested positive or is awaiting COVID test results, contact your child’s principal and do not send child to school tomorrow.
Bus routes 13 and 21 will be delayed by 45 minutes for morning pickups on Monday January 4th 2021.
Any MCJH 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girl that wants to try out for softball this season, stop by Mr. Swindle's classroom on Monday to sign up. You must have a physical completed before you can try out.
****RETURN TO SCHOOL REMINDER**
All Macon County Schools will resume regular schedule on Mon. Jan 4th . If your child is COVID positive or been exposed to a positive case, they cannot attend school. Please keep students at home if they meet either of those criteria.
RBS students that normally ride bus 22 home will ride bus 20 home today, Fri Dec. 18th.
Any parent signed up and was notified of receiving a food meal box needs to have it picked up tonight by 6pm. All pickups will be ending in 20 mins.
December substitute paychecks may be picked up this Friday, Dec. 18th between 7am and 10am. All checks not picked up by 10am will be mailed.
Reminder: If your child tests positive for COVID-19 or is in close contact (6 feet or less for 15 minutes or longer) with someone who tests positive for COVID-19 over Christmas Break, DO NOT send your child back to school on Monday, January 4th and notify your child's principal or school nurse so they can give you the proper quarantine guidelines for school. We must have your cooperation with this in order to prevent mass numbers of students being quarantined after returning from the break!!!

This afternoon Bus 60, not bus 6 as sent earlier, will double for 21 so students on Bus 21 will be arriving home late.

**School Calendar Reminder**
Next Friday, Dec. 18th is the last day of fall term and an abbreviated day of school from 8-10am. The first day of spring term is Mon. Jan 4, 2021 from 8am-3pm. The 2020-21 school calendar can be downloaded at https://5il.co/bqew
The entrance drive between MCJH and the funeral home cemetery will be closed from 8am to 2pm this week due to construction. This drive will not allow access to HWY 52 when leaving from MCHS or MCJH from behind MCJH. The MCJH driveway between the school and soccer field will be open for traffic during the school day.
Macon County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tues. Dec 1st, due to inclement weather.
Due to the overwhelming response we have received for our Holiday Meal Boxes, the form has been turned off. If you have already completed the form we make certain that you have your meals. If we feel we can reopen the form at any point we will do so.
The RBSHS Basketball games have been cancelled for tonight.
Support Staff and Substitute paychecks are available for pickup today between 7am-12pm in the Payroll Office at the Board of Ed.
Due to the current weather conditions and the forecast of more snow during the day, Macon County schools will be closed today.
