Last call for yearbook pickup for RBS 6-12 grade!
RBS will have only one more pick up day for yearbooks and spring pictures. This date is July 9th 9AM-12PM. This will the a drive-though no one will get out of their vehicle. Please note this is the last day for yearbook pick up. Please make arrangements for someone to pick up your yearbook if you are you are unable too. We will have extra available at a cost of $45.00. However, it is first come first serve on the extra copies.

Pick up time Tuesday, June 30 from 9am-12pm in the front school parking lot. Unless you ordered online or have prepaid, yearbooks will be first come first serve at a cost of $45.00. This will be drive through only. Please do not exit your vehicle. Spring pictures will also be available for pickup at this time.

The new state deadline to apply for P-EBT benefits is July 13 NOT the 31st. Parents now have until July 13th to apply. Correction on Board Meeting Date....Monday June 29 not June 28 as sent.
The School Board Meeting scheduled for this coming Monday, June 28, at 6pm will be held via Zoom. A link for public link will he posted Monday for viewing the meeting.
Additional Skyward Parent Info....Skyward is locked at this time to allow for the building of the registration database. It will open back up on July 6th. Registration CANNOT be done via the Skyward app. Parents can use the mobile browser on their devices or a desktop/laptop computer. Please make sure you know your actual username and password to Skyward not just your app four digit pin that you set to get into the mobile version. Send parent and student name to flynnd@maconcountyschools.org to request account info prior to July 6th.
**REMINDER** Returning Student Online Registration will open Monday, July 6th. ONLY students who were enrolled in a Macon school at the close of the 19-20 school year are eligible to enroll online at this time. It is extremely important that if you do not have your Skyward Parent login info that you email flynnd@maconcountyschools.org your name and student to get the info prior to July 6th. Please write your login info down or save the email for future use. More detailed info on completing the registration process will be posted closer to the open date.
Today, Wednesday June 24, is the last day of the Summer Meal program. You may pickup meals 9:30-12:30 at Macon County Jr High School.
The Macon County School System would like to inform all attendees of the MCHS graduation ceremony on Friday night that a school system employee, who had close contact with several graduating seniors and other attendees, has tested positive for COVID-19. This person did not exhibit systems until Sunday morning but they have tested positive. The Macon County School System is deeply sorry for any inconvenience this exposure has created for those in attendance. The guidelines below from department of health can be followed:
• Identify those who have been within six feet of the individual for 10 minutes or more at any time within 48 hours before the individual’s onset of symptoms until the individual has left school property. Those individuals will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days from their last exposure to that individual.
• Testing for COVIS-19 is recommended if you fall into the above category.
Meal Program Correction....the summer meal program will continue this week as pickup only...the home delivery of meals is the only part of the program cancelled this week. Meal pickup will run the same this week.
Due to the continued increase in COVID-19 cases in Macon County, the school system summer meal pickup/delivery program is cancelled for this week.
MCHS Graduation Attendees:
Due to the rain we have had periodically today, you may want to bring a towel to wipe off your bleacher seat if needed. The graduates chairs will be dried by the faculty.
Red Boiling Springs High School Senior 2021 Pictures will be on July 11. Times for each student will be posted closer to time.
Macon County Students who receive free or reduced priced lunch is now eligible to receive a Pandemic EBT card. Students at all Macon County elementary schools, including Red Boiling Springs Elementary and Red Boiling Springs High School are eligible to receive these benefits. Each student will receive a total of $256.50 on a P-EBT card to help with grocery expenses. Follow the link to apply. See attached flyer for details.
