Today, Wednesday June 24, is the last day of the Summer Meal program. You may pickup meals 9:30-12:30 at Macon County Jr High School.

The Macon County School System would like to inform all attendees of the MCHS graduation ceremony on Friday night that a school system employee, who had close contact with several graduating seniors and other attendees, has tested positive for COVID-19. This person did not exhibit systems until Sunday morning but they have tested positive. The Macon County School System is deeply sorry for any inconvenience this exposure has created for those in attendance. The guidelines below from department of health can be followed:
• Identify those who have been within six feet of the individual for 10 minutes or more at any time within 48 hours before the individual’s onset of symptoms until the individual has left school property. Those individuals will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days from their last exposure to that individual.
• Testing for COVIS-19 is recommended if you fall into the above category.

Meal Program Correction....the summer meal program will continue this week as pickup only...the home delivery of meals is the only part of the program cancelled this week. Meal pickup will run the same this week.

Due to the continued increase in COVID-19 cases in Macon County, the school system summer meal pickup/delivery program is cancelled for this week.
