The State Board of Education will begin reviewing current ELA standards to prepare for implementing new standards for the 2029-2030 school year. Each standards review process follows a two-year rigorous, legislatively outlined procedure to promote collaboration and transparency. The State Board of Education is seeking public feedback on the current ELA standards. The link below is to access the survey. 🟢 DISCOVERY CONFERENCE 🟢 Attention all MCJH 7th & 8th graders!!!!! Macon County FFA invites YOU to attend this fun-filled conference day with us! Discovery Conference is for 7th and 8th graders who may be interested in joining FFA in high school!! This is a regional conference with schools attending from all over Middle Tennessee. This is a day packed full of sports, games, leadership, ropes course, the rifle range, and much more! Any MCJH 7th or 8th grade student can attend Discovery Conference with us on 9/14. We are limited to 20 students, registration will be first come first serve. We will be traveling to Camp Clements in Doyle, TN by bus.
