Macon County Board of Education will hold the second round of interviews for director of schools position on Tuesday April 19th 2022 at Macon County High School auditorium beginning at 5:00 pm.
The Board will meet in Special Session on Friday April 22nd April at 5:00 pm at the school board office for the purpose of selecting a Macon County Schools director.
Reminder- No School tomorrow, April 15th in observance of Good Friday
MCJH Girls Soccer tryouts for any upcoming 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls will be May 9 and 10 from 5:15 to 7pm at the MCJH soccer field. Any girl wanting to try out must have a physical on file at the school or in hand the day of tryouts. Any questions please email Jessica at jleftrick89@gmail.com

Macon County FFA Greenhouse Sale will open to the public Thursday, April 14th through Saturday, April 16th.
Hours of operations will be 8am-5pm Thursday & Friday, and 8am to 2pm on Saturday. Please see the price list attached.
The interviews scheduled for Monday,April 11 for the position of Director of Schools have been postponed.
Interviews will be rescheduled for a later date.
The Macon County Board of Education will conduct the second round of interviews for the position of Director of Schools on Monday, April 11, 2022 beginning at 5:00 pm. The interviews will be conducted in the boardroom of the Central Office located at 501 College Street, Lafayette, TN.
***REMINDER***. Spring Break for Macon County Schools is April 4th-8th
Volleyball tryouts for girls that will be in 6th grade next year will be held at Macon County Junior High on Tuesday, April 19 from 3:30-5:00.
Tryouts for girls that will be in 7th or 8th grade next year will be held at Macon County Junior High on Thursday, April 21 from 3-4:30.
Girls must have a current physical either on file or in-hand to participate in tryouts.
****MCHS FFA Greenhouse Sale**** As always, it is an honor to announce the 2022 Spring Greenhouse Sale will take place Thursday, April 14th through Saturday, April 16th. I am attaching a price list below for you all to view and share as you wish. We will be open from 8am to 5pm on both Thursday and Friday, and 8am to 2pm on Saturday. Please help us spread the word to the community!

Dress Code for Graduation Ceremony:
Guys: black, navy, or khaki pants, collared shirt, dress shoes, NO sandals or tennis shoes, NO JEANS
Girls: any color dress, capri pants, or slacks; dress shoes/sandals; NO flip flops or tennis shoes
Top Ten Girls: white skirt, white dress, white slacks, or white capri pants; white
shirt, white dress shoes or white sandals
Top Ten Guys: black, navy, or khaki pants, white collared shirt, dress shoes
Anyone who needs help locating appropriate dress code items, please see someone in the counseling center and they will make sure you have what you need.
Macon County Board of Education will have work session tomorrow night at 6:00 with special called board meeting immediately following.
